The Newport Girls Select Basketball program is excited to bring you their Annual Cold Turkey Tournament. Newport Girls Select has hired Verduin Sports Consulting to assist with registration and scheduling. This is not a DYSports-sanctioned tournament, and it will offer divisions for all levels of play. This event is exclusively for girls, with divisions for 4th-8th grades.
Please note: This event is not hosted by DYSports or Verduin Sports Consulting. All rules and regulations will be provided by Newport Girls Select Basketball. DYSports rules will not be enforced at this event.

Tournament Rules
Home and Away: In the schedule, the team listed at the bottom is designated as the Home team (wearing White), while the team at the top is the Away team (wearing Dark).
For fifth grade divisions and younger, only Man-to-Man Defense is allowed. (Man-to-Man rules are detailed in the tournament rules.)
Each team is required to provide a parent to assist with the score clock/game sheet.
