Jamaal was born in Kentucky and moved to Seattle during high school, where he played basketball and football for Rainier Beach High School before finishing at Foster High School, where he became an All-State performer. He later earned a basketball scholarship to play JUCO basketball in California. After his playing career, Jamaal began training and mentoring young athletes in Seattle. He is deeply rooted in Seattle hoops at every level. He has since moved to Las Vegas, NV and has become one of the leaders helping build the DYSports brand in Las Vegas.
“I have experienced a lot on my journey through sports. I want to give back to my community and help guide the next generation of young athletes who may want to pursue a future in athletics.”
