From a young age, Joel could always be found on a basketball court, whether it was at the playground or under the gym lights. His lifelong passion for the game led him to become a certified NAIA and WIAA basketball official, allowing him to give back to the sport and support the next generation of players. In addition to officiating, Joel has spent years coaching intramural teams and working with the Boys and Girls Club, where he discovered how much he enjoys mentoring youth and helping them grow both on and off the court. His energy, commitment, and genuine care for young athletes shine through in everything he does. At DYSports, Joel brings that same passion to every event, striving to create positive experiences for players, families, and coaches.

If you could play any professional sports position what would it be? Point Guard – dropping dimes and hitting buckets.
